A typical day at Highway Farm Activity Centre

A daily routine gives children a sense of security. This is why we ensure each day is properly structured while leaving enough time for spontaneous activities.

08:00 a.m. - 09:30 a.m. Arrival and breakfast time, Circle time
09:30 a.m. -11:45 a.m. Adult led activities, day to day jobs, Looking after the plants and animals.
11.45am Lunch
12.30 p.m. - 3pm Child intiated learning.
3 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. Afternoon snack
3:30 p.m. - 6 p.m. Outdoor exploring, fun, child led play.
   
6:00 p.m. Centre closes

 

After school club,

3pm - 3.30pm                            Pick up children from schools                                 
3.30pm - 4pm Snack time, chill out time, free choice indoor play
4pm - 6pm Outdoor play, fun and adventure. Child intiated play
6pm Centre closes

Holiday clubs,
8am - 9.30am                        Registration, breakfast, Chill out time, free choice indoor play
9.30am-12noon

Morning activity, age groups split (3-7yrs & 8-14yrs) planned activities.

12noon - 12.30pm                 Lunch time                                                                                

1pm-5.30pm                         Free choice of activities onsite. Our popular "Free range Children" 

 5.30pm                                Centre closes
