Highway Farm Outdoor Activity Centre Cornwall is managed by Martin Besford & Jane Neill. The centre is situated in Four Lanes, Redruth, near to the north Cornish coast line.

Our Activity Centre which was completed at the beginning of the summer 2006, incorporates disabled facilities, changing rooms and showers, an indoor hall with fully equipped kitchen area, relaxed seating area and presentation equipment. The outside area is landscaped with car parking and turning facilities, picnic areas, football pitch and team building equipment and lots of adventure play opportunities. There are Secluded camp fire areas and separate camping zone with timber bunk house and tents, all set within one and a half acres. Our outdoor space is changing all the time. It is developed for the children, by the children. They help design, plan, build and create the adventurous wild and fun play space.

We are outdoor the majority of the day, up to 90% of every day, exploring the wonderful world we live in.

Little explorers outdoor pre-school has its own Eco timber buildings and private outdoor area.

Play & Learning in the outdoors ~ Our Ethos

Little Explorers - Outdoor Pre-school

Little Explorers is part of Highway Farm Activity Centre. We operate in Eco friendly Timber buildings with a back to basics, cosy atmosphere. The buildings are heated by a log burners and water heated on it. We have  compost toilets and are wrapped internally with carbon zero insulation. We try to offer the best of both worlds with a secure natural indoor space, a stimulating and challenging outdoor, enclosed area for free flow. All surrounded by an acre and a half field for the freedom and exhilaration the natural outdoors has to offer.
